GHR Consultancy
HR, Payroll & Labour Compliance Tools for India
Not calculators. These start from a problem — a rejected PF claim, a passbook that does not match a payslip, a Kerala minimum wage revision you were slow to apply — and work back to the cause, the records involved, and who can actually fix it.
What HR problem are you trying to solve?
Describe the situation in your own words. The search suggests the tools that deal with it.
Search runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to GHR or to analytics.

How the statutory figures behind these tools work
Every rate on this site is a dated rule, not a constant. A rule carries the scope it applies to, the window during which it has effect, the instrument it comes from, and the date it was last checked at source. That is why a September 2026 payroll can still be recalculated correctly today: the EPF wage ceiling is held as two versions, ₹15,000 to 16 September 2026 and ₹25,000 from 17 September, and the engine resolves the one that applied on the date you ask about.
The engine also refuses to guess. A rule scoped to one skill level will not answer a question that does not mention skill level, and where several rules match a query equally well the engine returns nothing rather than picking one. A plausible-looking wrong statutory figure is the worst thing a compliance tool can produce, and it has happened on this site once before.
Unverified figures are not hidden; they are counted. 2 rules in the engine are recorded as not verified at source, with the reason stated, and neither can be presented as a rate.

The minimum wage and VDA row is not an oversight and it is the honest answer. Kerala notifies a basic wage sector by sector in documents that are image-only scans, and revises the dearness component separately twice a year. A basic wage published without its VDA would understate what an employer owes, so no rate is held for that pack until it has been read and checked at source. The tools built on it report the gap and work from the figures on your own notification.
2 rules expire within 90 days
- · VISHWAS 2026 damages settlement window — 2026-12-28
- · One-year savings window under s.164(2)(b) — expires 21 November 2026 — 2026-11-21
Two savings windows under s.164(2)(b) of the Code on Social Security, 2020 close on 21 November 2026. The instruments that keep the EPF Scheme, EPS, EDLI and the ESI (General) Regulations alive fall away with them unless replaced.

These are in the registry with their search intent and their indexation decision recorded, but the page does not exist yet. They are listed rather than hidden because a platform that shows only what it has done is not telling you what it cannot do.

About these tools
- Are these tools free, and do I have to sign up?
- They are free and there is no sign-up. The basic answer is never gated behind an email address. Where a tool cannot answer something, it says so and names the professional engagement that would — that is the only commercial route on the page.
- Do you store the payslips, passbooks or payroll files I use?
- No. Where a tool accepts data, the parsing and the comparison run in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and there is no server-side copy. Several of these tools exist because someone is dealing with a PF problem or a payroll discrepancy, and that is not data this site has any business holding.
- Where do the statutory figures come from?
- Every rate on this site is held as a dated rule with a scope, an effective window, a notification reference and the date it was last checked. The rules engine resolves a figure for a specific scope on a specific date, so a 2026 calculation still produces 2026's answer. Where a figure could not be verified at source, it is recorded as unverified and labelled wherever it appears.
- Why do some tools not show a rate at all?
- Because a rate this site cannot cite is a rate you cannot rely on. Kerala minimum wage notifications, for example, are image-only scans and the VDA component is notified separately on its own timetable. Publishing a basic wage without its VDA would understate what an employer owes. Those tools do the analysis they can do reliably — identifying which notification applies — and ask you for the figure from your own notification.
- How is this different from a calculator website?
- A calculator takes figures and returns figures. These take a situation and return a cause, a route and a document: which party can fix a rejected PF claim and in what order, where a passbook and a payslip diverge, which of Kerala's eighty-plus minimum wage notifications applies to a job, and which of sixteen welfare fund boards applies to an establishment.
- Are the results legal advice?
- No. They are information tools that perform arithmetic and screening on what you enter. They do not determine whether anything is lawful, compliant or correct, and using one does not create any professional relationship with GHR.
When the tool is not enough
These tools tell you what the position looks like on the information you give them. A determination for your establishment — which notification applies to which group of staff, what a reconciliation actually shows, how to answer an inspector — is a professional engagement, and it is the only basis on which GHR can advise you.
